Hugg - Green News Gets Dugg

Hugg468Treehugger’s by the people for the people eco-news service was launched a couple of weeks ago. It works on the same principals as Digg - users post links to their favorite green content, other users vote if they like that content - and the most popular content gets to the front page and the wolrd gets to hear about it (like news on the front page of a Newspaper used to).

But how could a marketer us the service? Directly - every time you have a new eco-conscious product or press release you could submit it to Hugg. Also, everytime a blog, paper or magazine writes about a green effort of yours, you should submit it to Hugg. Indirectly, you could channel your press releases to first hit blogs that have a “Add This Post To Hugg” Button.
