Twitter As A Tool

TwitterlogoMost have already tapped into the powerful communications platform Twitter, but some marketers are starting to realize that the site may be a powerful marketing tool with a fantastic amount of potential.

Most of this buzz is being written by bloggers whom are finding Twitter to be both a great organizational tool and a surprisingly effective promotional tool. Some buzz, though, is really stretching Twitter as a marketing tool, discussing how marketers can utilize Twitter as a way to open up dialogue with their consumers.

Imagine, being able to immediately apologize on behalf of your organization instead of staying silent until a formal press statement can be released, or having the chance to receive instant and constant feedback from your product users. These are just two concrete examples of the many ways marketers and companies can actually use Twitter to their advantage.
