Absolut Treehugger

One of the problems with running a blog is making it pay for itself. There is a large amount of time associated with writing and keeping the blog alive and then plenty of costs to pay for server space and bandwidth. However, as web 2.0 has become part of the mainstream some blogs have made considerable amounts of money, usually through advertising.
Treehugger has been one of the best blogs around and has managed to capture the green zeitgeist. As a result it has a large and loyal audience of great value to advertisers.
Swedish vodka company Absolut has partnered with Treehugger to create an advertorial blog at treehugger.com/absolut . The blog is part of a wider Absolut campaign (An Absolut World):
“In an Absolut World, we will live with less, but better, and with dainty carbon footprints. Join TreeHugger in a vision of an Absolut world where out serch for ideas, creativity, and talent is global but materialization is local, because we live in an Absolut donwloadable world.”
