Packaging Ideas: Gaultier Squared & Magnetic Attraction
Gaultier sent us their new fragrance Gaultier2 (squared). What caught our eye is the fact that in the pack is two glass bottles - magnetically clung together. We asked ‘The Lady’ for a response to the smell and she said, “Yummmmmmm. Niceeeeee.”

Good Brand Blogs: Nancy Boy Blog
In a detailed review of the brand Nancy Boy, JT of PSFK gives us a glimpse into the importance of the brand’s blog in the company’s sales strategy:

Influx M2: Eric Ryan On Method’s Success
“It wasn’t like I was some clean-freak. We looked at the category and what we saw was everyone was so similar and looked identical. The category was built around owning a product function such as effectiveness – so it had become a low interest category. If you find such a category: find the white space, own the experience and not the end benefit. Your mission is to own a new category not a new brand – be consumer inspired, not consumer led.”
Eric Ryan, founder of Method, speaking at the Influx M-Squared Conference Sept 27 2005 San Francisco.

Gillette’s Approach To Creativity
We quite concur with Fast Company’s tone in their post about Gillette’s new razor Fusion. How do you top the three balded Mach 3? Oh - give the customers 5 blades. The type of innovation that will slit the brand’s throat, no?
