About Marktd
Marktd is a community for marketing professionals. Here, the wisdom of thousands of marketers is united as members share exceptional content. A sophisticated reference system is featured which helps highlight marketing articles considered valuable by the Marktd community. Marketers submit articles they either write or find on the web. The community votes on the value of those articles and the most popular reach the front page. This is how it works:
Submission
- Marketing professionals submit links to their favorite marketing stories to Marktd.com (you have to be signed up. Simple - just click here).
- But not just any article. Marktd and Branding Strategy Insider are committed to providing meaningful content for professionals in the marketing community. Submissions that have no relevance to marketers are promotional in nature or deemed inappropriate will be removed. In some cases membership is revoked. Sorry Spammers.
- Approved entries get filed in “New Marktd Stories”
New Marktd Stories
- New Marktd Stories holds all the fresh marketing article-links submitted by the users of Marktd. Here you will also see links from our favorite blogs/sites semi-automatically.
- There are many articles and they can be sorted by ‘Topic’ - by trend or marketing discipline.
- The community can rate the article-links by voting on the article, or getting an article Marktd.
- If an article gets more than three votes, or Marks, the article gets promoted to “Latest Marktd News”. As the site becomes more popular, the number of votes required for a story to reach Latest Marktd News will increase
Latest Marktd News
- The Latest Marktd News is a smaller pool of better quality marketing content. You’ll find links to the most newsworthy articles as decided by the marketing community.
- It can be sorted by trend or marketing discipline. Or even by tags
- The community can rate the article links by Mark-ing it.
- The most popular articles in the last few days rise into a special category called “Top Marktd News”

- Imagine this section as the front page of a newspaper - with a quick glimpse; you can see what’s hot right now.
- The most popular recent articles feature on this page.
